After a long wait for my computer to arrive, it was dead on arrival. The graphics card was not installed correctly.and had become loose in the Mother board. I returned the PC and they charged me $400.00 restocking fee. So I had to pay for their mistake. A large amount for a Veteran on disability pay! Stay away from this company.
These guys are plain awful. I ordered a $4,000 workstation from them for my business. I talked to the Xidax sales rep (Austin Gomez) on the phone while ordering and he was very friendly and seemed very determined to help. He assured me that there would be regular communication on the build so I could plan accordingly if there were delays. After what seemed a positive experience he asked me to write a customer service review for him so that he could get a $10 dollar reward from Xidax. I gladly did this, but as soon as I did Austin stopped bothering to communicate with me. The build was estimated to take 24 days to ship, but Xidax never updated the build status for me, never posted any pictures, never assembled any components, and never explained what the issue was, simply stating that "Covid will delay shipping." I wasn't asking about SHIPPING. I am not concerned with carrier delays. I was simply trying to find out when they would actually BUILD my computer and mail it to me. They refused to give me a response, give any indication of the build, or answer when it might arrive, as they never updated the order info on my account, which they promise to do as a service to customers. Ultimately after two months of no computer or updates and minus $4,000 from my business account I had to cancel my order. It tore me apart because I desperately needed this build for my business. If I had just chose to build it myself or have it done on Etsy, then I would probably actually have a computer by now. What a bummer. After I called Xidax customer service and they hung up on me a few times they FINALLY agreed to cancel the order. They never once apologized for any build delay or customer service issues, they didn't offer any sort of deductions or perks, and they never explained why they simply chose not to build the PC, even after I asked multiple times. Furthermore, Austin never got on the phone with me again, even though he was allegedly my "dedicated sales engineer." The whole experience has left me disgusted and upset. If you are thinking of purchasing Xidax, PLEASE RECONSIDER. There are better options out there.

So back in Dec 2017 I bought a very Expensive computer ($6701. 00) from them that had dual graphics cards and 56GB ram and it was supposed to be the latest and greatest for that moment in time. Well I had to send it back 3 times... First time was soon after I got it and the second a year later and the third a year later... When you send it they want you to send it in the original boxes that you received it in... So yes I kept mine and well when they returned it the third time someone decided to just throw it in a box and tape it up and no real protection in it. So I didnt sign for it... They built me a new one that they said costed 4'757 to build but when i priced out everything they were doing it was 3500 only and i tried to dispute but they said that what I had was equivalent to what they were building. I doubt it... Well... This one has probs... And it must have heated up so much the tempered glass shattered. Keeps Shutting down for no reason. And they still have not contacted me about why this would happen.
Spent 6000 dollars on two computers one broke and called service never called back to this day and I called 3 times. They were so nice to take my money but when I have problem boy do they suck. No help at all stay away

Just talked to a "Product Specialist" who didn't know what ryzen 3 was, He asked me if I meant RTX 3000 series. It's an awful company with awful customer service trying to keep low-end consumers away from AMD CPUs go with another builder like Redux who doesn't try and push you into getting an Intel CPU.
I understand some complaints as there were times it seemed some like customer service employees didn't care once I had paid, but these were actually outweighed by times where the actual salesmen were amazing - especially Nick and Drew. Nick didn't try to upsell me. In fact in some cases Nick pushed CHEAPER parts because he said I wouldn't need the more expensive ones (For example, he said a 3090 would be overkill for my planned uses and a 3080 was fine since this was my entry into PC gaming). There WERE a few times he pushed more expensive parts since I was willing to make my first gaming PC one that would last, ultimately seeking a mid-range rather than entry level, as well as needing a PC that would render raw 4K 360 videos I shoot, but as a as a tech savvy guy he was able to work with me, and explain the ins and outs and importance of each piece and provide me 2 or 3 options to pick from.
I called multiple times. I built a machine that was a perfect fit for me. And ultimately because of how this company works, I actually spent about 230 LESS then if i built it myself because they get the parts cheaper and added a sale discount (I paid 2870 for a 3100 dollar PC). The main parts ALONE were 180 less not including stuff like wiring and glue.
So the trick is that you DO have to let them install Xidax software on your PC. But I'm not gonna turn my nose up at a free anti-virus. Or a free annual PC checkup. Yes that's mandatory or your warranty is void, but I'll gladly do it if it means a lifetime warranty on my PC.
And i understand I'll have to buy parts from them to keep the warranty but... I had a great experience so gladly will! The issue's didn't actually arise until shipping. After a couple months waiting on a 3080, it came in. It wasn't communicated to me how one of the SSD drives was also backordered, and they had no estimate on when to expect that. They said one week, but it took a month before they finally offered my a similar options. Good news there was while waiting I was able to get them to swap out my CPU from a 3950XT to the new 5900X and I'd been waiting so long they swung it so I broke even.
They made it hard to get, and they couldn't set a shipping time (I worked on the original arrival date). They finally said they would pay to reroute it to my local UPS store since it requires a signature. I got confirmation it's in so finally get my monster tomorrow!
So ya... I technically haven't used it yet... But I can update this review if anything goes wrong with the PC (If there's no update within a week of this posting, assume everything went right... In the end.)

This $3500 trashcan with an Nvidia RTX 2080ti, a Z390 carbon mobo, and i9 9900k 5.0 is worthless. First the mobo failed in 10 mos, so, I sent it back. Now, 2 months later the garbage bag pc randomly shuts off while playing weak ass WoW. When I sent it back I even had the fans upgraded and a new soundcard installed. My six year old digitalstorm still works better than it. So, I'll send it back for another two months and await for the fresh new hell it has in store for me when I get it back. Avoid this company at all costs
I have had two great experiences with Xidax tech support and both went above and beyond my expectations. My machine has performed well. The quality of the tech support will mean that the next computer I buy will be from Xidax. In my opinion there is nothing more important than the quality of customer support. And based on my experience Xidax is top notch.
I bought a $2800 laptop from Xidax in 2018 and have had problems with it from the beginning. Running Far Cry 4 - yes, FAR CRY FOUR - it overheated to 105F and shut off. I called them and had to send it in. They sent it back. I then tried activating G-Sync, since I ordered a G-Sync display in it. Well, it turns out they sent me a laptop without a G-Sync display in it. It even has a G-Sync sticker on the laptop! I have updated all of the drivers, tried everything, and have found that this monitor does not support G-Sync. I mentioned this to them, and they did not offer to replace it, they offered to give me STORE CREDIT of ~$700! I was absolutely blown away. So I tried playing Destiny 2 when it came out for free last year, and my laptop got SO hot that I LITERALLY could not put my hands on the WASD keys. I took my temp reader for my bearded dragon and lasered the laptop and it read 134F on the surface of the laptop. I did not type that wrong - 134F. I was blown away at the fact that this laptop was running this hot and hadn't shut down yet - and five seconds later, it shut off. I called them again, and they told me "these new gaming laptops are made to run this hot. It must be another program you are running." I know it's not another program I'm running, because I don't run any programs that run in the background. I have an Elgato, Audition, Movie Studio, Chrome, Photoshop and a few games. That's it. Nothing that would run secretly in the background and interfere with a game. So I just decided to try and run Warzone today for the first time (since I'm usually on PS4) and I barely dropped into a match when my laptop shut off. There's no way I could not write a review on this horrible company that claims to create "the best gaming PCs in the galaxy". Do yourself a favor and STEER CLEAR of this website. I bought a CyberPower Laptop 7 years back and it was absolutely insane. Lasted me 4+ years, probably only got shut down when I went to and from classes. Got a laptop from Sager PC for my girlfriend and it was okay, but it wasn't a real gaming laptop. It was low-end and I never used it to play anything - So I guess what I just said about Sager PC is completely pointless - honestly throw that opinion completely out the window. Anyway, for what it's worth - steer the Hell clear of Xidax. It's cheaper for a REAL reason. I'm still paying off the credit card bill two years later, and I have a gaming laptop that I can't even play a game on, and a payment I can't even make a freakin' dent in. So yeah. Thanks Xidax.
I had a very nasty bout with xidax,, to make a long story short they put a laptop computer together for me that was gaming specs, while the computer was good for a couple years, the salesman lied to me telling me i could replace my video card, which this wasnt true. I had them take my computer on 2 reapairs within 2 years, meanwhile my wife and her HP walmart never had one issue, i contacted segar because xidax told me i would have to get another GPU, and they got from sager, sagear is so overpriced and after a second computer i bought to eliminate xidax, same junk. Xidax while they do piece computers together they do not do many things in their office like even replacing a GPU. I would never do business with them or saeger, to make it right they sent me 3 cheap ass t shirts that are horrible quality, along with a pc mouse. The company is great to talk to but when you have a issue and you will be prepared to get jerked around i even had the warranty...
Bought a hi-end computer for my son for Christmas. Was looking at an Alien Auroa but ended up with Xidax (my kid found the company). Price was cheaper, service was great in configuring, the machine showed up and has worked great. Only issue was the service person helping my son configure the software tried to up-sell him on some anti-virus subscription -- this gal probably spent a total of 2 or 3 hours helping him configure and sell him. Anyways, he declined the up-sell but did get everything set up properly. Its only been six months but he is very pleased with the system.

Not a scam, just a lousy company. They paint a good view of their products. They are not better than other company. Could be a scam but it is hard to say.
